news flash. yesterday was our second ivp matchup. we were up against ngee ann. damn were they good. they had the nationals under 21 captain playing for them, and a few other team singapore players. it was a good and long match. the final score was a draw of 1-1. and i'm glad to have been part of it. coach seems to be favouring me though, he has been substituting me into the game very frequently and making me fill all positions. anyways, the first match we had were against nanyang polytechnic, who are incidentally the host. we won them by a meagre score of 2 to 1. it was close. but fortunate too. it was the first time the whole team actually met EVERYBODY and played together, as a team! so to be able to win, i'd say is pretty much a darn good team! as jeremy has put it, we're the under dogs, and hopefully we'll get third place in this ivp. oh! speaking of which, i finally know what IVP stands for! it's actually I=Inter V=Varsity P=Polytechnic. haaa glad to make it into the SP hockey team! Glory to SP! in case you were just wondering which sport i was talking about, it's HOCKEY, and damn it's fun! so people out there, don't be fooled by the game's complexity. as soon as you get a feel of what it's like to whack the ball hard, you'll fall in love with the game. and baby, i still love you, more than hockey of course x))
